But I digress….. There are Seasons for everything….. There are Seasons for Locusts….. There are Seasons for Cicadas….. …..and Monarch Butterflies….. All sorts of scheduled and timed critters….. But currently…we are finding ourselves knee-deep in Palmetto Bugs….. I would much rather hear the drone of the busy Cicada…creating relaxing white noise…while I drift off to…

*The Coming Steam*

*******Please Subscribe To My Blog…..It Really Helps******* We try to get up early…… For the past months it’s been a regular routine…get up…open up the house…let in the morning air…and let out the night time staleness (i.e. slumbering hound flatulence)….. I’d like to say…I would be comfortable leaving the windows open all night long…but I’m not….. Some of the house’s windows are low…and too close to the outside ground….. **********Please Subscribe To My Blog…..It Really Helps********** *****(Ants in Florida)***** …..Great…I’ve discovered that there’s a new ant in town….. …..Really?…like we needed another biting bug added to the list?….. I found out the old-fashioned way…I got bit….. …..repeatedly….. My daughters tried to say it was my fault for being out in the garage…barefooted….. …..I beg to differ….. I’ve been going out in that same garage for thirty years…barefooted…and this was a first….. I’m still dealing with stealth-squirrels (they continue breaking…

Copernicus…….really?…

Copernicus…….really?…

Copernicus is more raccoon than house cat. He’s got Bengal spots, but he’s not a Bengal (that’s a domestic cat breed). He’s a Puma breed that my friend is trying to get recognized by the CFA registry (Cat Fanciers Association). I’m sure he’s more of a raccoon than a house cat……. …..he loves bright-sparklies… Bright-sparklies can be anything that appeal to his kitty-sense of fun-ness & curiosity. …..he collects them, he hides them, he plays with them, he eats them……
