The squirrels…crows…and general bird population…and ME do battle to collect the berries….. This year was no exception…with regard to the quantity of mulberries….. …..but the foliage is not right….. There’s a lot of fruit…but the leaves feel dry and they are curled at the edges….. They aren’t falling off…but they are sparser than usual…and they sure aren’t happy…
