Pot Luck Woes

      Today’s Tea is a Pot Luck. I prepared for it last night by making over six dozen peanut butter cookies (my grandmother’s recipe).   I dutifully placed them on the THIRD shelf of our pie safe, which is attached to the wall above one of our kitchen butcher blocks.   We all survived another bonfire party….. Only those things that were intended to get burned got burned….. Phew………….That’s Always A Plus….. My older daughter had all of her friends over…It was a Christmas Cookie Decorating Extravaganza….. Young adults, lots of refined sugar and Fireball bourbon………….very entertaining to watch…..
