We welcomed a new big buck goat to our farm recently…..

Doctor Brigid has a surplus of boys on her farm…..and Mnefarious is just too good to pass by…..

Mnefarious is a six year old LaMancha buck who was bred by Doctor Brigid…..he’s a beautiful/spotted boy…..

…..(honestly…..her goats put ours to shame)…..

…..(all our herd look like backwoods/feral/nasties by comparison to her stock)…..

…..Mnefarious is exemplary…..

…..even when he was walking to the buck pen (that he is now sharing with Professor Dillamond)…..

…..Mnafarious struck a show pose for the camera…..he’s quite statuesque…..(I think he knows it too)…..

The two boys took alittle time getting “used to” each other………nothing too unusual for two whole male goats…..

…..it’s just how they say hello…..

…..Boys!?!…..

Doctor Brigid told me Mnefarious’s mother’s name (which I unfortunately forgot)…..it started with an “Mn” too…..

…..that’s just what you do with goat offspring…..(naming them after their mothers)…..

…..(if you recall…..we had a whole line of soda-pop names from Bubbly)…..(and we are currently working on a related-line of lingerie items…..Teddy is still out there)…..

…..Years ago I swore I’d never have a goat without ears…..

…..the good Doctor said it took her twenty-five years…..but she finally got a goat without ears (a LaMancha) on my farm…..

…..(I have to admit…..to the dismay of Dillamond…..Mnefarious is a beautiful buck)…..

…..looks like next year’s kids are going to have abbreviated auditory apparatuses…..apparati(?)…..
