Yesterday morning we took Willow to Doctor Russell…to confirm that she was pregnant…..

She’s been getting paunchy…..

Her appetite has increased…..

She’s been a little bit more verbal and whiny…..

All the things that point to her probably being pregnant…..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

…..Well…The Joke’s On Us…..

…..and Willow is snickering…..

Willow is NOT in a Family Way…..

Ha!…..

She’s paunchier………….because she’s eating more…..

Doctor Russell said it was hard to read the x-rays…because her stomach was so full of food(!!!)…..

She wasn’t going to ruin a good thing…(with the extra good food)…she’s a smart hound….

This was going to be her last litter anyway…but Mother Nature decided for us…..

…..and that’s just fine with me…(I’m really too tired)…..

But…Ben’s still grinning…and Willow’s gotten her extra snacks and meals…..

They consider this a Win/Win Situation…..

…..now I’ll be able to have a few more months of regular(ish) sleep…..

My Motto Is:

***—Go With The Flow…Because the Wake Will Drown You Otherwise—***

We have two of Willow’s and Ben’s daughters already…Sloane and Wisp…..

…..so those pedigree lines are protected and preserved…..

Willow has had her last litter and will be spayed…along with Killian…..

…..we have Killian’s lines on-going with Sabine….

So Life Is Good…Celebrate The Little Things…(like the promise of a good night’s sleep)…..

But what Ben doesn’t realize yet…is that he’s already had His Last Hurrah…..

…..(shhhhh)…..

…..(and Ben does not know…that neutering…is just around the corner)…..

…..(shhhhh)…..

He will have to take solace in knowing that his genetics will be continued with his daughters….

He can lay down the gauntlet(?)…knowing that he’s done his part in continuing the ancient & historic breed of the Irish Wolfhound…..

It is no longer his weary & tiresome duty…..

Now…it is Acacias’ time to carry on the stud-ly responsibilities of procreating Irish Wolfhound puppies…..

Can’t you just hear Ben saying—“Wait a Second…What?…Don’t I Have A Vote!?!”…..

My response is—“No Ben…No…You Don’t”…..
