I’m thinking about hanging out in the Crafts Aisle at our neighborhood DollarTree store…..

Apparently we have a serial Streaker(!?!)…in our county…and he’s only hitting DollarTree stores(!)…..

He ran through our local DollarTree last week…AND I was even at the DollarTree last week(!)…..

…..and I missed him…..

…..I’m so disappointed…..

My older daughter just gave me this news breaking gossip…after coming home from our store…..

She noticed we had a full-time security guard…and she was curious…..

My first question is…How is it cost effective to employ a security guard to stop shoppers from pocketing items costing $1.25(?)…at what quantity of goods does a security guard’s salary break even with the shopper’s kleptomania…..

…..(one needs to ask these things)…..

But apparently that was NOT what my daughter overheard…while she was minding her own business in the Seasonal/Gardening section…..

A DollarTree employee was chatting with the security guard about the Streaker…..

…..and to date…..

He has hit somewhere between fifteen to sixteen of the stores…only in our county!…..

…..that begs one (me) to ask the next question…..

Why DollarTree?…Why not…Winn-Dixie…or something more high end?…..

Why DollarTree?…..

And here’s another question…what’s the security guard going to do?…chase him down?…body-check the sprinting streaking flasher?…

Maybe I should start packing a lunch and hang out at our store (for the possibility of a repeat performance?)…..

Not that I’m quick enough on the draw to take photographs from my cell phone…(it takes me forever to find the right buttons)…..

I think I’ll just peruse…appreciate…and observe…..

You have to admire (dare I say) the #$%%’s of anyone who has the moxie and/or insanity…or maybe just the speed…Not to be photographed and identified by someone’s camera(!??!)…..

…..it’s got to be the element of surprise…..

I wonder if the store’s management would mind if I set up a folding chair outside their front door…to check him out coming and going…..

I’m not advocating public nudity…..

I just want to see it…..
