Usually they’re not considered an insurmountable problem….. …..they can be treated and healed….. But they are dramatic….. An otherwise sound horse can be dead-lame in the blink of an eye….. We don’t know why it appeared….. It was on her neck where vaccinations are normally given….. …..but we haven’t given any shots since last summer?….. …..so an abscess coming up…..as a result of a vaccination needle…..is unlikely….. Hmmmmmmm….. We’re making headway….. Yesterday our young blacksmith arrived bright and early….. Addy…..Anja…..and Claire were on the agenda…..
