I’ve decided that one of my New Year’s Resolutions for this coming year will be…..

…..No Hurricanes…..

…..it’s a good Resolution…don’t you think?…I’ll chat with Mother Nature about it…..

I think this map is incomplete…it feels like there were so many more…..

Plus…Hurricane Charley’s not listed…he was supposed to come directly up Tampa Bay (just like Hurricane Ian did)…then he decided to make a ninety degree turn to the right over Ft. Myers at the very last minute…(just like Hurricane Ian did)…..

…..maybe Hurricane Charley was prior to 2017?…I don’t remember now…..

I’ll have a heart-to-heart talk with Mother Nature and see if she is in agreement with me on this New Year’s Resolution…..

…..I’ve given it a lot of thought…and I’ve decided…I don’t want to worry about any more Hurricanes or Large Tropical Storms coming over us anymore…..

…..well…that was easy…I should have thought about doing this long before now…..

…..just a little chat with Mother Nature…a little tea…a scone or two…and we both decided that this was a do-able Resolution…..

………….Phew………….

So what’s my next New Year’s Resolution…(now that I’ve got the hurricane-thing under control)…..

…..loosing weight?…naw…..

…..getting fit?…maybe…..

…..buying a Clydesdale mare to ride and Fox Hunt?…YES!…for sure!…..

…..(I miss you Addy)…..

So…as agreed upon…2023 will have temperate/easy-going weather for us…I’ll still be pudgy…but I’ll be riding again…(even though I am thoroughly unfit with minimal leg muscles for any control while in the saddle)…..

I suppose I should try to be kinder…less overtly-opinionated (that’s a hard one)…more polite…more tolerant…a little less over-bearing…and not as embarrassing for my daughters (now that one’s impossible)….

…..(some of those New Year’s Resolutions sound thoroughly unrealistic for me)…(some of them are totally unachievable)…..

…..I know “nice matter”…so…I’ll just concentrate on that one…..

I’ll try…………………but I won’t promise anything…..
