~~~My-Red-Headed-Child~~~
Apple Red
My younger daughter likes red hair…….
…..so we buy box-dye from Walmart…….
…..normally my daughter likes the  “Hot Tamale”  flavor…….
Cherry Red
…..but Walmart didn’t have it this time…….
Sangria
…..in the past we have painted her head with “Berry Red” and “Sangria” and “Garnet” and “Cabernet” and “Cinnamon Whiskey” and “Black Cherry”…….
…..but this time, without being able to return to our trusted “Hot Tamale”…….we settled for “Pomegranate” this go’round…….
(Note The Pink Paint From The Lawn Jockey Still On Patrice)
Her Hair Is More The Color Of The Seeds
…..rag towels in place…….plastic gloves on…….and away we went mixing smelly chemicals…….
…..the heady ammonia smell quickly cleared the dogs and cats and Paolo out of the room and down the hallway…….
…..my younger daughter and I are steeled to the nose-shriveling smell…….it’s just one of the costs of beauty…….
(and let’s not even start talking about leg waxing…….!!!!!!!)  OooooUuuuuCccccHhhhhh!!!
Pomegranate  Red  Head  Starting  To  Percolate
…..through blurred/tearing eyes…….I was able to watch as her (already pretty) naturally dark auburn hair started taking on a brilliant  &  fetching dried-blood hue…….
…..we had to let it set and decant on her head for twenty-five minutes…….
Stove Timer
…..then all of the smelly goop had to be showered off…….
…..and the end result was the very, very, very red color that she had hoped for…….
And Voila!…….C’est Fait…….
…………….what should I do next to myself…….(?)…….maybe ear gauges………….or another tattoo…….(?)…
    1. Thanks so much! I’m coming up to almost three years of doing this, and I don’t seem to be running out of wind…..so, I’ll just keep rattling on…
