An Ode to DollarTree…..it’s a fine store……………………..

……………….filled with goodies galore……………………..

………….where EVERYTHING is just A Dollar…………………

My friend Patrice isn’t demanding……

She doesn’t require a lot…..

She has pockets that are like Mary Poppin’s carpet bag…..

She’s wash ‘n wear………….actually she is more wear than wash…..

She usually smells…..(shhh…we don’t tell her because she has sensitive feelings)…..

But Patrice does have a penchant for socks…..

Where denim is inherently her monochromatic-color-choice…..Patrice does like colorful socks…..

And my glorious DollarTree has kept me supplied in the quirkiest/most colorful socks imaginable…..

…..I don’t know where they get their ideas from…..(from where they get their ideas from?)…..

…..but they are beauteous…..

…..and…..

…..only a dollar!…..

And with that being said…..you are only limited by your drawer size…..not your budget…..

The hot air balloon ones are my favorite…..it’s got knitted striations for the ground…..the grass…..and the air…..

When they came out with red fox socks…..I bought them all…..

…..they re-filled their pegboards…..and I bought them out again…..

…..all my friends have red fox socks now…..

…..and if you don’t have yours yet…..

…..you will soon…..(you know…because of the the whole fox-hunting-thing)…..

I have a pair of socks that have little flaming matchbooks all over them…..

…..and another with constellations…..

…..and another with martini & cosmos & old-fashioned glasses…..

…..and then there’s the pair with RV’s…..

…..no cutsie-pink-stereotypic butterflies or hearts…..

…..but the less common hotdogs and beer bottle socks…..

My older daughter even scored the fried chicken & waffles ones!!!…..

…..(not to be confused with the pair of sock that I already have with just waffles flying solo)…..

Now…..that’s a trophy-win!…..

…..(for those of you not from “The South”…..it’s a thing down here)…..

…..(fried chicken and waffles)…..

…..(it really is a meal served together…..with syrup(?)…..it’s actually pretty good)…..

I don’t know who is in charge of DollarTree’s creative design department…..but their socks are the BEST!…..

…..one of my favorite pair had Rolling Stone-esque lips and tongues all over them…..

…..(but…..sadly…..I worn them out)…..

DollarTree’s socks are A-1 in my book…..

…..(plus…..they’re easy to sort and match)…..

…..(oooooh!…..I forgot about the sushi-roll ones that I gave to my older daughter)…..(cool, huh!?!)…..
