Embarrassed to Say

Embarrassed to Say

I just worked out that I have been blogging to myself for over a year now.

I haven’t once run out of nonsense to write about…

Not once.

There’s just so much nonsense in life………….isn’t there?

I don’t know if I’m prolific or just full of hot air………………excessive and copious amounts of hot air.

It appears that I can have a lot to say about absolutely nothing……………repeatedly.

And so it continues…………………..the Saga of the Hag……………..

Compelling and simultaneously ridiculous…

The Swamp Hag

  1. Hi there! I could have sworn I’ve visited this blog before but after
browsing through many of the posts I realized
it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking it and checking back frequently!

  2. obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  3. Hi, Well I have enjoyed it!

We met a hundred years ago in London when you were here for the tennis, and we were all thin. My husband, Andrew, was at uni with Paulo, and you kindly send us your annual letter – which this year contained the link.

Well, I didn’t ‘enjoy’ reading about your horses… that was just heartbreaking.

But you are good at this, and I love a window on life that is very different from living in South London!

    1. I remember! Weren’t we at a pub near Blackheath? It was after one of the Wightman Cup competitions. I wish I could remember the name of the pub……….was it in Blackheath? I would love to get back to visit again sometime in the near future. Any chance of a trip this way?

      1. I remember a pub in East Sheen, The Plough? http://www.theplough.com

And maybe at Paul Marriott’s, as well.

Unlikely we will get your way, but plenty of beds here in Wandsworth now the kids have all married and left home. So book your trip…

        1. It was the Plough!!! I may even have a bar towel from there still! Paulo will be retiring in the next couple years. We may just take you up on the offer. Paulo hasn’t been home for a long time. I’m sure he wants to see everybody again. Is your spousal-unit as fixated on the World Cup as mine is? We don’t touch the remote on risk of death.
