There’s a “something” out there…and it’s heading this way…..

…..but we are tip-toe’ing through the 2022 Hurricane Season…..

We ducked Hurricane Fiona…she skimmed poor Puerto Rico…their power-grid is down…and they are flooded…and a mess…..

It hopefully seems like Fiona will sweep to the right and go back out to sea…hopefully far out to sea…(watch out Canada)…..

………….but………….

…..there’s a “something” out there…waiting…next in line…..

I know nothing about meteorological forecasts…I catch on when the storms are at my doorstep…breathing down our necks…..

…..long-term forecasting escapes me…..

…..I’m just starting to wrap my head around wind-shear…(I now know…I like Wind Shear…a lot)…..

BUT…I can read body language…and I know when the meteorologists are keenly interested in something that’s smudged on the weather map…..

…..and…there’s a “something” out there…right now…..

…..it’s on the heels of Fiona…it’s lower on the map and heading NNW…..

…..it’ll probably go south of Puerto Rico (phew)…..

But then…..

…..the meteorologists aren’t saying…(it’s too soon)…but…there’s a gleam in their eyes…..

…..and that worries me…..

I’ve heard words like…the Caribbean Sea has “perfect conditions” for development…..

…..and…the currents are “favorable”…(FOR WHO/WHOM—FOR WHAT!?!)…..

Everything’s so warm…the water and the air…..

…..and it all depends on the upper-level winds…(the shear)…..

So the blop on the map doesn’t have a name yet…(it’ll probably be an “H” or an “I” name)…it’s not going to amount to much this week…..

…..or next…..

…..BUT…..

There’s a glint in the meteorologists’ eyes…they’re starting to slaver…there’s a flip to their wrists while they’re pointing at the weather maps…..

I would guess reading about another hurricane season might be boring for you…but not so…for me…..

…..I still lose stomach-lining…and add worry-lines…and deal with chronic biliousness (no…I’ve always had that/can’t blame that on the storms)…..

…..and so…we wait…(I worry about the livestock & the horses)…..

…..I’m getting too old for this…..
