And the year swings around again…..

~~~~~(Summer Solstice)~~~~~

If it’s not raining…we’ll be out by the bonfire with Cheetos and cheap wine coolers…..

…..(forget sunrise…it continues to come too early)…(I’ll leave that for the roosters)…..

The bonfire will be smokey…(because the wood’s wet)…but that will help keep the mosquitos at bay…..

…..I’ll stick to bonfires after sunset…with Adirondack chairs…and smokey fires…and quantities of cheap wine…..

I’m sure the summer solstice will be busy at Stonehenge before and after dawn in England…..

…..I will miss the opportunity of a pub’er with the locals…(a Boilermaker with Ben Truman Export & mediocre bourbon before lunchtime at The Bell in Amesbury…yummy)…..

*****(Boilermakers Made Easy)*****…(my Grandfather used to insist on dropping the shot glass directly into the beer mug)…..

But the comfy easy of an Adirondack chair…and our infamous big purple cups…ahhhhh…..

I mean…the Summer Solstice will happen with or without the Cheetos…..

…..but they make things much more fun…throwing Cheetos at the bonfire and each other…..

…..Mature?…..

…..not at all…..

But…I am a big proponent of celebrations…big and small…..

Celebrate the humungous things…and the itty-bitty ones too…..

…..especially the little ones…they sneak up on you…and they can be wonderful happy surprises…..

Happiness is a habit…..

…..I’ve learned that nothing makes people worry more (or prompt them to give me a very wide berth)…than being an old baggy lady with a maniacal smile…..

…..(and that’s entertaining too)…..
