Pretty Empty Bottles

  I’ve just finished bottling my home-made, Kahlua-esque, coffee liqueur. Friends have given me pretty, empty bottles. Surprise!  My friends are good at emptying bottles too!   I’ve doctored the stove-top hooch beyond the original recipe that I was given………………………..well, of course I did. I was supposed to filter it…………………..I never do… I figure some circulating coffee grounds could count as dietary fiber and healthy/necessary roughage……………………plus I’m both lazy and impatient. Electric Fence Extravaganza

The water’s subsided enough that we (I) can get into the back pasture. Our fencing is still a mess from Hurricane Irma.  An incredible mess… Ideally we have four “hot” strands with the second from the top being non-electrified.  I don’t know the logic to that, we just followed directions of much more experienced draft horse people when we first put the fence in. Maybe it’s because IF you’re nimble enough, you can go through the fencing at any location…
