I’m settling for watching the 1934 “Tarzan and His Mate” with Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O’Sullivan.

I was looking for “Quiet Man” or “Darby O’Gill”…………………….maybe Maureen is as close as I will get to St. Patrick’s Day classics…

Pssssst!…………….we’re not allowed to watch any of the “Leprechaun” movies in this household……………..my eldest can’t handle them………………..(???)  Tee.  Hee.

I don’t make the rules here………..I just follow them…………..

 

 

 

A lot of this movie’s scenery does look familiar now that I know it was filmed just up the road, off the Weeki Wachee river.

 

 

I’ve even gone tubing on that river…………………hmmmmmmmm…

and lived to tell…

 

 

I just looked for St. Patrick’s Day Parades…………anywhere…………..on any channel.

Can’t find any.

Sigh.

 

 

I’ll stick to my own celebration of the obligatory corned beef and cabbage…………..oh, and the Guinness…

 

And now the chimpanzees appear to be running through some sort of a fruit grove or orchard with California-ish hills in the background………………..?

Now there’s a herd of Asian elephants running across the screen.

Johnny, you are loosing all credibility at this point……..

But apparently, he did his own yell……………………cool.
