Like I’ve said before…..my cyber-intellectual-potential is non-existent…..

Giving me computer instructions is like throwing mud onto a wall painted with grease…..

…….very little sticks…….

Recently, I needed to create a sell sheet for my blog…….

(don’t ask why)

I knew the gist of what I wanted…….

I could have done it with a photo, India ink and a straight-edged ruler…….(and a lot of “White-Out”)…

…..but oh…wait…….

…..I live in the computer-age now…….

…..all that old stuff is antiquated and collecting dust…….

(…..maybe I should put in a definition of India ink…..sigh)

***Does Anybody Use India Ink Anymore?***

So…I had to go ON-LINE to the Office Depot store website…….

…..my intention was to work on developing a Sell Sheet…….

…..other than knowing what kind of card stock paper I wanted…….

…..and that I wanted glossy-finish and not matte…….

…..I was absolutely LOST on how to set things up…..

……THE CYBER-WORLD HAD TAKEN OVER TOTALLY…….

…..but I found a technical-support phone number…….

…..there was hope written all over that #800…….

…..rescue came in the form of a WONDERFUL young lady on the telephone in Manila…….

…..She Was So Helpful…..She Had A Better Command Of The English Language Than I Do…..She Knew Computers…..She Knew Sell Sheets…..She Knew Qwerty!…….

…..she helped me through the entirety of the process…….

…..throughout the entire phone call, we chatted about life in the Philippines and life in Florida…….

…..how COVID-19 was affecting her and her family, and how it was affecting mine…….

…..we talked about every day life and the weather…….

…..we chatted about chickens & egg dishes & how she could work through the night (she was twelve hours ahead of me)…….

…..all the while we were picking fonts, cropping the photo, comparing colors and centering text…..

…..she typed up my sell sheet for me (again) at her end…….

…..all the rough drafts got emailed back and forth…….

…..and a couple of days later the finished product arrived in our mailbox…….

…..Yippee!…….

…..I couldn’t have done it without the kind help offered from Manila…….
