To all of you alternative-pet nerds out there…..I should probably apologize…..

…..pets take all forms…..

…..I just like pets that are a bit more…..

…..oh, I don’t know…..

…..productive/interactive/vocal/furry/fluffy/warm/snuggly/and nice to pet…..

…..and without beady eyes…..

FYI:  I don’t trust any animal that doesn’t blink normally and licks its own eyeballs…..

…..(just saying)…..

And so…..it goes without saying…..

*************THE LOCAL REPTICON WAS IN TOWN AGAIN*************

…..and with it…..all of the lizard and snake nerds came out in droves…..

…..my older daughter first and foremost…..

…..I was invited…..

…..I didn’t go this time…..

…..my older daughter went with only the intention of buying gecko food…..

…..I didn’t believe her…..

But…..to my surprise…..she did just that…..

…..she did have a hankering for a cute little palmetto corn snake…..

…..but she didn’t give in to that weakness…..

Her friend did have to sprint back at closing time to buy a wiggly little sand boa…..

At one point I had thought I might be a ball python enthusiast…..

…..but now I think I’ve gravitated to the colorful-hybridized king snakes…..or maybe a pretty corn snake…..

…..but I need the snakes around here to be useful…..

…..or maybe I should just stick with cats…..
