I’ve already mentioned (in a previous post) about our poor tractor crapping out…while trying to get ready for the re-population of our bee hives…..

…(*****(Honey Bee Arrival)*****)…

My daughter thought it was because of contaminated diesel fuel…..

Whatever it was…it made the old girl (the tractor not my daughter) spew white smoke…..

…..then black smoke…and then sputter out and die…..

…..without any hope of resurrection…..

Unbeknownst to me…(while in the throes of this Covid virus)….my daughter drained the tractor’s fuel tank…and made a grand discovery…..

…..she found the bottom third of the tank filled with a gelatinous adherent goo(?)…..

Well Lordy George…that’s not good………….not good at all…..

I have to wonder how that poor tractor was even running(?)…not with that glop inside it…..

After that discovery…my daughter (Covid and all) soaked the tank with a special cleaner and scrubbed it free of its toxic Jello…..

Sadly…I have to admit…I missed all of this…..

…..I was still staring into space…drooling…with an unfocused glazed expression…stuck in Covid’s clutches…..

But my daughter (somehow) remained active and productive…..

I don’t know how she did it…..

She then ordered some new diesel fuel cleaning stuff from Walmart…..

…..and we waited…..

Her abilities are really amazing…..

She and YouTube’s instructional videos get along together like peas in a pod…..

All of the bad diesel fuel has been drained out…and whatever long-term accumulation of that goopy garbage has been scoured out…..

The tractor is still mid-repair…but we are optimistically hoping for the best…..

Where our farm equipment never had any comprehensive maintenance schedule in the past………….they certainly do now…..

Hopefully our tractor will be up and running soon…we really need it here on our little farm…..
