The obvious is right in front of us…..

One could assume the obvious has happened…..

But no one’s copping to it…..

One night (recently) my younger daughter’s bedroom window was shattered mysteriously…..?…..

One would expect that if a window broke suddenly in the dead of night…..

…..that One would wake up…..?…..

…..(I was sleeping about twenty feet away)…..(my younger daughter was only five feet away)…..?…..

…..but One(s) didn’t…..?…..(wake up)…..

We found it the next day…..

…..(it reminded us of the expression about a tree falling in the forest with no one to hear it and if there was any sound?)…..

…..in the morning…..my younger daughter pointed out the broken panel…..?…..

There were shards of glass inside her bedroom…..as well as…..on the ground outside the house…..

Neither one of us heard the breaking glass…..?…..

…..we just found it the next morning…..?…..

“One” would have “expected” that we would have heard the window break…..?…..

…..and that same “One” would also think that it was “highly-likely” that one (or both) of the “usual suspects” would be the errant Claire and/or Addy…..

…..both of whom were snoozing in the front yard…..

…..but No Noise….?…..Really…..?…..

…..(plus…..I’m an insomniac and a light sleeper)…..

There were no oak limbs on the ground that could have broken the glass after falling from a nearby tree…..?…..

There were no other sharp-poke-things laying around that could have broken the window…..?…..

The only potentials were the two large dozing draft horses mares…..

…..that would be the most plausible explanation…..right…..?…..

…..we’ve had to install a new window…..

…..AND…..Now…..we have to figure out how to keep the pony girls away from the windows…..

I’m sure we’ll create some sort of “buffer-zone” between the mares and the bedroom window created with some emergency electric fencing…..

But…..No Noise?…..?…..

…..there are pieces to this puzzle that are missing still…..

I take full responsibility for this one…..I shouldn’t have let the mares get so close to the house…..
