The rains are here…..!…..

…..Tra!  La!…..

You know that expression…..”the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”…..

…..well the mud is muddier on our side of the fence now…..

Remember when I wanted (some) rain?

…..I got my wish…..

Moderation is a good thing…..right?

…..we got the little bit of rain we needed…..

…..and a little bit more…..

…..and a little bit more…..

…..and then more…..

All the dogs love it…..

…..they love the rain falling…..they love the resulting mud…..

They come straight into the house…..and shake…..

…..the only thing you can do is shut your eyes and keep your mouth closed…..

We know we need a deck outside the back door…..

…..so the hounds can lay there for a bit…..dislodge some of their sludge…..

…..and then come inside…..

Like I’ve said before…..we don’t need those pretty decals on our glass doors…..

…..they are always so smeared…..walking through them “by mistake” (due to their cleanliness) is a total impossibility…..

…..seeing out through them is also an impossibility…..

Like I said…..I got my wish…..

…..we’re floating…..
