Hey…..we’re in the South…..

We live in the country…..

Most of our friends live in the country too…..

Cowboy boots are a mandatory part of anybody’s apparel…..

…..they just are…..

You’ve got your work boots…your casual boots…your super-comfy boots…and your formal boots…..

My older daughter recently had to go boot-hunting…..

…..she is going to be a bridesmaid…..and her very good friend wants all of her bridesmaids to be in teal gowns and brown cowboy boots…..

…………………it’s really not that unusual down here…………………

The collection of women all got into cars and drove to a variety of boot stores…..

Boots were found…..by all…..

It was a good day…..

The bride-to-be bought three new pairs…..to add to the seven she already had at home…..

…..my daughter found the pair she wanted…..

…..something she’ll be able to wear more often (than the teal bridesmaid’s dress) after the wedding…..

I could make another entire post about the different boots I have in my closet right now…..not even counting any of my Doc Marten’s…

I’m happy to say…..I DON’T have a shoe-fixation…..

…..I’m really pretty sure about that…..

…..but…..hang on…..I think I need a moment…..

…..hmmmmm…..

…..I think I’m becoming quite sure…..

…..that I might just have a boot-fixation…..

…..you know…..this blog has been very therapeutic for me…..

…..while writing…..I’ve come to realize that I might have mild-pyromaniac-tendancies…..

…..plus…..(as I’ve just discovered)…..a boot-fixation…..

See…..look how much money I’ve saved on therapy since I’ve been writing this blog-thingie!?!…..

…..more than enough…..to go buy some more cowboy boots…..
