Ooooooohhh…..

…..always fun…..

I wonder if there were any earlier Friday-the-Thirteenths this year that I missed?

Apparently not…..

This was a year with only one solo Friday-the-Thirteenth…..

I wonder how they ever got going…..?…..

Personally & traditionally…..Monday’s have always been rough on me…..

…..not Fridays…..

…..you know…..that jump-start after the weekend…..

…..when you’re looking down the barrel of a long week of having to behave yourself…..

…..until…..the next…..

…..Friday…..Friday…..Friday…..!

…..see Friday’s are a good day…..whether they fall of the Thirteenth or not…..

This one in particular started super early for me…..

…..I mis-read the clock…..

…..(hey, I’m blind in one eye…..and my reading glasses were on the other side of the bed)…..

…..plus I have a very old Big Ben analog alarm clock (I’m not a digital fan)…..

…..and poor Mister Ben has to be set 8 1/2 minutes fast when I go to bed so that the time works out right in the wee hours of the morning…..in the dark…..

Oh…..and it’s space-aged (for the 1960’s) radio-active/glow-in-the-dark illuminated dial petered out a long time ago…..

…..it’s only a low-beam smudge in the dark…..

Keeping all of that in mind…..

…..it was actually just past 4:30am when I got up and wandered down the hallway past the reliable/bright/digital oven clock…..

Am I changing alarm clocks anytime soon…..?…..

…..nope…..

…..(what and hurt Mister Ben’s feelings?)…..

And so my Friday the Thirteenth begins…..a little earlier than planned…..

But hey…………………I woke up the cats for once…..

…..heh…..heh…..heh…..
