As you already know…..I went on a nationwide search after my younger daughter lost her therapy horse (Sonja) to Botulism Type-B poisoning in the Spring of 2018…

Poppy was the first potential replacement for my daughter…

…..she was Amish bred and came from Kentucky…

And then there was Anja who came from Minnesota…..and she’s just perfect for my child…

Don’t get me wrong…..Poppy IS a GREAT horse…….

…..she is younger than Anja…….

…..she has more potential than Anja…….

…..she is far less stubborn than Anja…….

…..and Poppy doesn’t have arthritis…….

But my younger daughter needs a very special horse and friend…….

…..Anja is patient…….

…..Anja is slow…….

…..Anja is even a little bit arthritic…..(normally that would be a BIG negatory for a horse purchase…)

…..(but not for me)—(in this special situation…that is A-Okay)…

Poppy will make someone a great riding horse.  She could make someone a great Hunt horse…….

…..with a little schooling…..(not from me)……I think she could be taught to jump…….

…..she is a game little horse (14.3 hands)…….

She’s just not the best fit for my daughter…….

~~~~~So Poppy went back down to Mary Constance’s farm for training and selling…….

Mary Constance can do absolute wonders with horses………….(she can talk to them or whisper to them or know their thoughts & read their minds)…

…..I could delve into my Tao-learning-background and say she vibrates as one with a horse…..

(I think Mary Constance would find that too “namaste-ish”)…..(Pascal, don’t tell her what I just said…..shhhhhhh)…

Does anyone remember the popular 1970’s books, “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”…and…”The Tao of Pooh”?

My point is…..Mary Constance can do miracles with horses…

Poppy’s a good girl…

She needs to have a better home where she can live to her full potential…..
