I Have An Up-Date!…..

WE HAVE A/C…..!…..

…..and it’s lasted for TWO whole days…and hasn’t crapped out yet!…..

Yip…Yip…Yippee…&…Tra!  La!…..

…..it’s amazing how a few external degrees up or down can change a person’s outlook on life!…..

Our air conditioner’s repair turned into a comedy of errors…corners cut at installation…damage of the original unit…mis-information…Lord knows what else…..

I think…(?)…we’ve unwound the tangled rat’s nest of wires…..

…..hopefully…..

…..well…at least it’s cold now…..

We were without A/C for sixteen days!!!…SIXTEEN days in August…..aaauuuggghhh!…..

Geez!  Louise!  That was a long time!…..

The nights were the worst…..

I even contemplated flattening out on the tile floor…with my face pressed into the sandy grout…..

All the Wolfhounds were belly up to the fans trying to cool down…I seriously considered doing the same…..

…..instead we (the bi-peds) stripped down to our underpants and baggy tee-shirts…..

…..we trained our regular repairman to CALL FIRST!…I warned him that he’d want to gouge his eyes out otherwise…..

But we’re cool now…maybe it will last…..

There were motors that needed to be replaced…multiple/corroded/broken wires…(from a 2019 installation?)…sulfuric acid was sprayed and glugged everywhere…..

I’ll clean and flush and vacuum whatever’s necessary…I like this new A/C company who did all these recent repairs for us…..

I think we had some apathetic/unreliable/unskilled individuals involved with our air conditioning needs up to this point…..

We’ll stick with these guys…I’ve already put our repairman on our Christmas card list & his birthday’s been noted on our wall calendar…..

I guess I should consider the good points of being without A/C for so long…..

Just think how well-irrigated and flushed all of our pores are now (from sweat)…..

And…think of the savings on the next electric bill because the air conditioning was out for so long…..

And the ceiling fans all got rev’d up and the dust-bunnies cleaned off with all of their excessive use…..

Air Conditioning is just SO @#$%^&*&^%$#@ important in Florida…..
