What happened!?!…..

This was not the plan…..

At least…this was not my plan…..

…..and what’s in the mirror these days!?!…..

…..I’m certainly not owning “That”!…..

I remember my Mom saying that she still felt like a fifteen year old in her head…..

…..she was sure…she could still do cartwheels…(in her head)…..

I haven’t tried doing cartwheels recently…but you mean…I might not be able to?…at sixty-nine?…..

The T.V. commercials say that age is just a number…they must know…it must be true…the T.V. said so…..

Or are they just hawking some gelatinous-goo to “prevent” aging?…(in the mirror)?…..

!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~But What About The Cartwheels?~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!

I still haven’t had any follow-up doctors appointments telling me what all these stupid medical tests & reports have said…..

…..(but I do have computer-access to the same stupid reports)…(and I’ve come to my own conclusions)…..

In my opinion…I’ve deemed myself healthy…..

…..(enough)…..

The hospital sleep study told me that I didn’t snore down the walls of Jericho…plus I didn’t set off alarms with inadequate oxygenation…..

…..so that’s good…right?…..

My CAT-scans said I still have pulmonary embolisms…but everybody’s already said…it will take awhile for them to re-absorb…..

…..so I’ll be patient…and wait…(ha!)…..

The same scans said I didn’t have bone lesions…(I’m Very Sure That’s A Biggie)…and I’m really grateful for that!…..

…..apparently I DO have a degenerative spine…..

Okay…that’s reasonable…cuz after a few decades living with gravity and falling out of trees or from horses…I suppose that’s to be expected…..

And…I guess I could assume that the wonky blood work (that they found during my hospital stay)…just means I have wonky blood…..

…..so I’m an alien?…okay…not a big surprise…I can work with that too…..

And let’s not forget the 24-hour urine collection results…..

…..actually I can’t remember…..

…..but I got a cool hat out of it…and my kidneys are obviously working…..

I’m done with this sick/aging  !@#$%^%$#!…..

…..I’ve decided…I’m going to be healthy now…..

Plus if the tests were that bad…the doctors would want to see me before September or October (which is when they’ve scheduled my return appointments)…..

That’s a logical surmise…right?…..

In my mind…all this inactivity has just left me with less grip-strength and some wheezy stamina…..

…..I can fix that too…..

Yep…I’ve decided I’m fine…a little cardio-work…a little muscle-strengthening…..

…..and I’ll be Right-As-Rain…..

…..(where do these weird expressions get their start?)…..
