The Unsuspecting Farrier

I should feel bad.
I do feel bad.

I even offered to buy our young blacksmith a back brace.
He’s so young…
He’s more fragile than he thinks…

My girls (the Clydesdales) are going to snap him in two………………..Claire especially…
She looks at him like he’s a match stick.
He’s one of those country-skinny guys……………..clean-cut/well-spoken/polite…………….yes, ma’am…………no, ma’am………..
……….(Who’s this Ma’am person?)……….
But, if he turns sideways, he disappears.

The most substantial thing on him is his belt buckle.
But he’s taken on my horses……………..
AND………..he’s willing to keep coming back……………..
I’m so glad………………..
But…………………..

Claire will eventually crush him…………..
That girl just has soooooooooooooo many hoof issues…………
And she’s large…
I actually thought I’d posted another entry earlier about Montana, our farrier………….(at least, I think that was the alias I gave him)…………………….but I can’t find it now………………?……………….so, I probably wrote it/thought I’d posted it/but in reality…………erased it……………….(not the first time I’ve done that).
