Will O’ The Wisp’s litter was born on December 20th…..

…..her last puppy leaves today…..

She’s going to Texas…..to a family who have a number of Irish Wolfhounds already…..in fact…..she will be the fourth puppy that they have gotten from us over the years…..

I’m exhausted…..it’s a happy & sad time…..it never gets easier…..

…..but there are some things to be grateful for…..

…..here’s one…..we didn’t loose any puppies from Willow’s litter…..

…..that doesn’t normally happen…..

…..(unfortunately there is usually the loss of a failing puppy…..but not this time)…..

The most likely loss would have been little Amy…..little Amy is no longer very little…..

…..plus she’s staying with us…..I don’t know what her final/registered/AKC name will be…..I’ll let you know……but for now…..she’s little Amy…..

Meg might just remain Meg…..Marmee is now Trovi…..March will be Cailean…..and Jo will be Jaime…..

I love hearing the puppies’ forever names…..it’s so very hard when they drive away…..but everyone is so  happy…..the puppies and their new families…..

I try to paint on a smile…..but I’m afraid I’m not very convincing and I look like the Joker from the Batman movies…..

What’s really great is getting the photos of my puppies in their new homes…..that’s always the best…..
