They know each other…they grew up together…they are both double registered…but from different lines….. Both boys had become “redundant” genetically at the woman’s farm–(who has become our “Porcine KuneKune Mentor”)….. She knows all things KuneKune….. Where it’s necessary for her to introduce new bloodlines into her pig production…it was hard (impossible) for her to send Scott off for “processing”…(to the butchers)……..

We’ve stopped feeding the 900 lbs. compressed alfalfa bales…we’ve returned to the regular square three-string alfalfa bales….. …..that way we can break off “flakes” for Pepper…and have more control over how much she’s eating….. Pepper’s quite the “foodie”….. She vacuums up every stalk and leaf….. We were warned ahead of time…

You’d think I’d be able to get ONE (1) working horse trailer on the road(?)….. Over the summer we battled to get the appropriate new tires on the truck…we just finished having the front ball-joints replaced (upper drag-bar linkage?)…along with the right tie-rod after the right caliper seized(?)…..
