*******Please Subscribe To My Blog…..It Really Helps******* From the time the assorted baby chicks first arrived from Stromberg’s Hatchery….. …..to recently…when I let them loose in the (previously empty) Maran  chicken coop….. The chicks have grown and feathered out…they’re still babies…but they are much bigger….. When they first arrived…the babies needed a heat lamp…and a very warm draft-free environment….. They were all huddled in our multi-purpose wading pool…(which has seen a number of different baby species…who have grown & graduated…

And bright and early…they were waiting for us at our main post office….. I only ordered forty-two chicks(?)………….(and honestly…that was too many)….. …..but the hatchery delivered more………….they actually sent fifty-two….. And to date…fifty-one are peeping around…fluffy…cute…hale & hearty…and loud….. …..the one little chick that didn’t make it…died within the first forty-eight hours…I don’t know why…(true to…
