Just Another Day…

  Today started out the way most days start out… I got cracked on the head when I was dumping feed into the buckets for the drafts.   Addy was so excited about her breakfast, that she swung her head up over mine, trying to get to her meal faster. She successfully hit me in the head with her cement-like-jawbone… Immediately after that, I had to medicate Claire’s legs from where the summer flies have created a couple of weeping…

  I have several licenses that I need to keep updated. CEU’s (continuing educational units) are that all important acronym for that all important maintainence of my licenses… I recently attended the 31st. Annual Clinical Symposium with ATAF (yet another acronym)-(the Athletic Trainer’s Association of Florida). I remember attending the organizational meetings prior to ultimately setting up ATAF… Old much????? We were in Kissimmee, Florida for the conference. Just down the road from Mickey Mouse and friends. …….I got there….

Upon Reflection

  I just re-read my last two posts. I try to do that for editing and changing hard to read sentences.   My last few posts sure do make country life and country chores look hard…..and dangerous…..and arduous…..(isn’t that the same as hard?).       I think I’m concussed…     Although, I probably shouldn’t be the one to ask… I had Paolo check my pupils with a flashlight for weird dilations…     I refused to get stitches……………I didn’t want a patch shaved on my head…   Tools for the rural lifestyle are not the petite, delicate gardening tools you can easily find in the outdoor section of Walmart. You have to seek them out at specialty farm stores and catalogs……
