Surveillance…(it’s a good thing?)
*******Please Subscribe To My Blog…..It Really Helps*******

Well…We’re hoping that we got it right this time…..
I’m speaking about having surveillance cameras installed…(again)…..

*****Just A Quick UpDate*****
Our first attempt at having security cameras installed on our farm was NOT successful…and that’s an understatement…..

After so many of our horses died by botulism poisoning during the Spring of 2018…we knew we needed surveillance for our pastures…..
…..we still don’t know exactly what happened…..
*****(This Was My First Post In 2018 After The Poisoning)*****
The first attempt at security cameras cost a bomb…and the installers turned out to be a less than reputable company…with cameras that didn’t work…no follow up help…and ultimately…phone calls and messages that were never returned…..

…..We Were Abandoned…..
Then to add injury to insult…(and this is all way above my technical/electronic pay grade)…apparently our IP address was able to be accessed and used or “bounced”(?) from somewhere in Eastern Europe(???)…..
…..Huh???…..

AND the installers never changed the camera’s passwords from the original factory settings…..
Like I said………….It’s All Way Above My Technical/Electronic Pay Grade…..

…..(I’m from the rotary telephone era)…..
What’s that old saying…”a little bit of knowledge can be dangerous”…I’m not sure who that applies to…the gentlemen who installed our first surveillance system…or us…for trusting them to know what they were doing(?)…..

…..maybe both of us…..
It took us a long time to lick our wounds…save up the necessary funds (again)…find a truly reputable company…and move forward…..

It’s always important to keep moving forward…..
What we recently learned from this new Father & Son company…is that technology has vastly and vertically improved since 2018…..

The camera images are clearer and larger and more encompassing…..
Fewer cameras are needed to cover the same amount of property…..

It was the owner of this new company who told us about our thoroughly corrupted cameras and our unintended surveillance by an eastern European country…..
He said every time he hooked up our old cameras to his computer…the devices would try to aggressively corrupt his computer(!)…..

I should’ve been shouting into one of those old cameras:
You Guys!!!…We’re Not Very Interesting!!!…No Governmental or Industrial Secrets Here!!!…..

…..maybe just me…getting caught short and pee’ing in the corner of a stall…(and I don’t care)…..
…..maybe my moon is already on billboards along roadways in another country(?)…(still don’t care)…..

But…What I DO Care About?…..
I care that these new cameras do their job…..
I want to see the gall bladders of anyone who steps onto this farm…..

At present…our horses are not even here yet…on our property…..
I want ANYONE with malcontent to see the camera’s glowing red lights recording their every move…..

If I have to have my every action recorded…then I want anyone (who wants to do us harm)…to smile into the cameras…..

…..and they better hope I don’t see them in real time…..
