Super Blood Moon
It’ll be out there tonight.
The last few nights have been quite a dramatic display, so tonight should be quite a show (clouds willing).
Let me see if I can get this right: It will be a full lunar eclipse for us, and it’s the Wolf Moon………..plus it’s a super moon…
So it’s the Super Blood Full Wolf Moon………….?
Last night my daughter and I were sitting on the alfalfa bales for a little while in the dark.
Well it wasn’t really very dark.
I love when the moon is so big & bright that it casts shadows. They are always so dramatic in their limited-palette…………a la Cat Stevens.
Tree limbs and branches inked in the dirt.
Small noises become so muffled and magnified at the same time.
Flashlight beams get swallowed up.
Being outdoors at night with full moons are so private and personal………..a good time for introspection……………and not tripping in holes.
