It just showed up…

I don’t remember even buying a papaya anytime during the last year…

…..but someone in the area must have…….

…..and then aided by some low-flying, papaya-fed, digesting bird…….

…..actually I’ve discovered, it’s not a tree…….

…..it’s an herb…..

What!?!

…..well then, it’s a really big herb.

Our “tree” is over two-stories tall with lots of fruit on it at varying degrees of ripening…….

Paolo took some to work and gave them to colleagues…

I don’t know what to do with them…

I’m really not a papaya-aficianado yet.

Funky fruit…

…..I hope the big herb tree survives the winter’s cold.

Maybe by next year, I’ll figure out what to do with all the fruit…

…..apparently it’s very healthy for you…….

We also have two mysterious magnolia seedlings that have just shown up here too…….?

…..they are each about twenty feet tall now…….
