Mason and Sebastian

Mason has a new home.
Mason has a better home.
Mason has a new job now too.
He has gravitated from being an apathetic, non-breeding/non-productive stallion…..

…..to being a potential hunter/jumper gelding in-training…..
***Disclaimer***(Mason was never consulted about the personal cost of this career transition…..)
However, he is now ensconced three hours south of us in Sarasota.

He has a glowing future of possibilities.
He already looks like he fits easily into the horse shoes that are in store for him.
Sebastian (of course that’s an alias and not his real name) is an accomplished Fox Hunter with our Hunt Club.

I have known him for a number of years.
But in addition, Sebastian is a horse trainer accompanied with being a farrier.

He is a kind man, who immediately identified a diamond in the rough (a.k.a. Mason).
I am glad and content that Mason’s life has future chapters with plenty of possibilities for on-going happiness.

The fate of an OTTB (Off The Track Thoroughbred) is not always filled with understanding and positivity.
Sebastian understands OTTB’s.
Mason is not his first.
Keep in mind at this point, Mason really only knows how to run counter-clockwise at full steam.

Forget the walk/trot gaits before the gallop.
Those have never been in his repertoire before now.
I am so glad that I was able to find such a good match for Mason with Sebastian.

I’d hate to think of all of the negative possibilities of a Craigs-List match-up.
…….and let’s not forget about the meat dealers…….
~~~~~So putting all of that out of our minds~~~~~
Mason has lucked out with his new home with Sebastian…..in sunny Sarasota, Florida.
Great (potential) outcome.
I see shareable icons for your blog. Is that standard, and do you want that? Asking because I would like to.
What’s a shareable icon? Keep in mind, I’m computer illiterate even though I write a blog on one. Wait until you see my next post…..it’s all about castration. There are multiple disclaimers warning people ahead of time. Hey—it’s a farm blog.
