~~~Late Nite TV~~~

Wow, some of these shows I thought were bad in the ’60’s!

But apparently you can still find them on late night television…….if you are so inclined…

I think they all share the same canned-laughter tapes…….(there are a couple/very identifiable cackles which are the give away)

There are hundreds of television channels available, and yet at 4:10am, all I can find to watch is “Gun Smoke”, “Petticoat Junction”, and “CSI” (in so many cities)…….

…..and more information than I ever needed to know about wrinkle creams, perfect pillows, and giving your car the shiniest/beaded-wax-coat……who knew!?!

 

I know I’ve gone stir-crazy……..

…..I know I have…….

…..even though their eyes are still closed…..the puppies know if it’s night or day…….

…..and they certainly know when it’s time for their next meal…….

My husband and younger daughter made a pilgrimage to one of our goat-friends and brought home seven gallons of raw goat milk…….(our ladies are not in milk right now here at home)

…..but our freezer is now teeming with the stuff…

When the puppies’ eyes start to open, I will begin feeding them “solid food” (actually it’s more of a very sloppy gruel) and I’ll use the goat milk as its base.

So far Killian is still keeping up with the supply and demand for milk…

Phew…….

Raising puppies certainly takes a bite out of a person’s social calendar…

Pajamas can be the clothing choice for the week if you’re not careful…….

…..and hair brushing is an unnecessary frivolity.

…..tooth-brushing…….?…….the puppies don’t care if I have halitosis & green teeth…….they are very forgiving…

For now the pups & I have developed a penchant for late night TV………

But gag me if I have to watch one more re-run of “Married With Children”…….those people just need to walk away from each other…….

…..don’t take away my “Munsters” or “Dark Shadows” (the original) or “Rawhide”———(watching Rowdy in jeans never gets old, even though we both did)…….

…..I remember when the first “Star Trek” pilot aired…

Captain Kirk (the early years before the girdle) is on late night TV too.

Did you know Barbara Eden had to keep her belly button covered in “I Dream Of Jeannie”?

Yep, the censors wouldn’t allow such explicit/debauched displays back then………….

The puppies and I just sit in the dark and throw popcorn at the screen………….

Who needs sleep!?!…………
