Yep…..the Super Bowl LVI was yesterday…..

I was only there for the commercials…..and the junk food…..

…..and not in that order…..

It was a planned attack…..

…..well-orchestrated…..

The shopping list was sketched-out with more precision than a quarterback’s instructions…..

…..the attack on our Winn-Dixie was succinct…well-planned…and drilled to perfection…..

…..my younger daughter and I went over the variables…..store-brand or name-brand?…..

…..one party-size?…..or multiple smaller/flavor options?…..

…..(there’s a lot that goes into pre-game planning)…..

…..(we went with name-brand this year)…..

My daughter and I broke into the Cheetos as our limber-up/snack at around 10:00am…..

…..(I love how the fake cheese gums around my teeth)…..(it’s an entire snack for later)…..

…..it’s important to have an appropriate/pre-activity/workout-munchie…..just to get the blood moving and the digestive juices flowing…..

…..by 11:00am my youngest was stirring the double-fudge brownie mix (with extra chocolate chips)…..

…..next…..the angel food cake mix…..

By noon we were well on our way into the bag of Cape Cod Potato Chips (regular flavor/regular salt)…..(I’m a purist)…..

…..(the Doritos (Cool Ranch) were waiting on top the fridge…..so the Wolfhounds couldn’t snag the bag before we could)…..

And let’s not minimize the importance of deep-fried mozzarella sticks…..and Stouffer’s Deep Dish Lasagna (with extra cheese)…..

Ice cream sandwiches were readily available (the 24 pack…because the sandwiches are so much small than they used to be…five equals one…that’s absolutely true)…..

…..followed by frozen eclairs…..and Blue Bell Ice Cream (Cookie Two Step)…..

I enjoyed the commercials…..I did…..especially Arnold Schwarzenegger & Selma Hayek’s BMW commercial…..

And…..the Budweiser’s Clydesdale commercials have returned!…..(And That’s Why We DON’T USE Barbed Wire Here!)…..

AAAUUUGGGHHH!!!

***The Clydesdale Commercial Made Me Cry***…..(I had to eat my feelings after THAT)…..

Somewhere in and around all that…..there was a football game…..

…..yes there was…..

…..(I think the Columbus Rams won)…..

………….Oh And…..Happy Valentines Day………….
