R.I.P.  Becky

Becky and Mystic have now both gone.

Annie has been left alone in a pasture that had seven other horses in it just a week ago.

We had Becky’s body taken to the State Lab for a necropsy.

Maybe we will learn something………………………some reason why they have all died.

We were giving penicillin shots along with a drench of Metronidazole…………………..it was obviously pointless……………..but we’ll keep doing it for Annie until this is over.

The horses in the back pastures are still all right.  That would be Mason, Bell, and Brave.                   Thank God.

Test results aren’t in yet.  It might take as long as a month before we get full results.

We’ve lost seven good friends in less than a week………………

I wish I had a happier/more optimistic post………….but, I don’t.

Many questions.               No answers……………………………
