Yep…..it’s that time…..

I can feel it in the air…..

It’s time to put pen to paper and scratch out our annual letter…..

What?

It’s Late…..you say!?!…….!?!

Pshaw…….I say…!

One year I sent them out at Easter…..

…..and recently someone reminded me that I sent them out in the summer…

Maybe I should aim for next year’s  Autumnal Equinox  for our 2020 photo…..?

That’s an idea…!!!…

But for this year…….

…..we’ve picked out a compilation of eight photos…..

Paolo doesn’t like the one I picked for myself…..

…..he said my face doesn’t show…….

…..I am on my hands and knees, under my horse…..

…..Patrice shows nicely…..

…..my face is there…..it’s just hidden behind my mare’s front leg…..

(………………..kids, don’t try this at home………………..it’s not safe)

But—–Daughter #1 and Daughter #2 look good in their respective photos…..

…..and predictably Paolo has hit his mark with his reliable/annual, holly-jolly smile…..

So we’re good.

It amazes me that our local Walgreen’s drug store can whip out these photos in just one hour…….(and we printed up 175 of them!)…

…..it used to take an entire roll of film…….hours of perusing over negatives…….chapped cheeks from tears…….and another week’s wait for the reprints to come back in……….hmmmmmmmmmm…..

…..where’s all the fun with last-minute drama and thirteenth-hour hysteria…….?…….
