Well Giddy-Up and Get-A-Grip…..!…..

It’s time to set this year’s pace and see where it leads…..

I can embrace the zeppelin…..

…..or…..

…..I can start behaving myself again…..

…..(I have to admit…..I am looking forward to a normal routine and diet…..)

…..(it’s a fleeting thought…..I’ll try to stomp it out)…..

…..(but it’s a necessary one)…..

…..I don’t look at my past-holiday-behavior as binge-eating…..

…..I look at it as extended-seasonal-enthusiastic-consumptive-appreciation…..

See…..it’s all in the way you look at things…..

…..there’s always a different facet of “that-gemstone-called-life” to peek through…..

…..I’ve always liked “that” quality about faceted-perspective & gemstones…..

…..(I really don’t know why I’m using quoted “that”s)…..

…..(there is no reason)…..

…..BUT…..I have ALWAYS liked baguettes…..

Did you know that Biscoff Cookie Butter actually makes an ice cream now!!?!!

It Does!!!

My older daughter found it…..

…..and we ate it…..

Prancer never made it to the illuminated-stage this year…..

…..part of his lights were out…..and when we tried to replace them…..

…..they were another-shade-of-white…..???…..apparently there are a number of shades of white in twinkle-lights…..(?)…..

…..who knew…..?…..

Prancer stayed lit for one night…..he had a dirty-white frontend coupled with a pristine-crisp-white backend…..

…..we got the “right” white lights ultimately…..but I had run out of steam by then…..and never dragged him back into the house to change out his whites…..

…..Anja doesn’t care…..she likes Prancer just the way he is…..

…..(he’s good for itching her face on)…..

…..(I’ll get it right by next year)…..

…..in the meantime…..I’ll use the block and tackle in the hayloft to haul him back up there until then…..

…..pretty soon the goats will be enjoying our Christmas tree as a snack…..after we un-trim it…..

…..one of my daughter’s friends is bringing over their’s too for the goats to munch on…..
