Remember when I said…nobody likes the ramblings of old people and their health histories(?)…..

Remember how I said I would keep it brief?…..

I lied…..

…..but I’ll keep this one brief…..

I went to my post-op/doctor’s appointment…..

…..and it looks like good news…..

My blood pressure remains Fine…my heart beat rhythm is Fine…and my EKG was Fine!…..

…..Good News!…..

Plus…my doctor got more specific about what happened during the “procedure”…..

He told my older daughter and me that the most stubborn mis-sparking of my heart was coming from the valve inside my aorta…..

…..not just inside the aorta…but on the edges & the far side of the aortic valve…..

Quick anatomy…the main artery coming off the heart (with the newly oxygenated blood for the rest of the body and responsible for your personal survival & happy homeostasis) is named the aorta…..

…..right as the blood is being pumped from the heart into the rest of your body…there is a three-flap valve (called the aortic valve)…and the flaps are called leaflets or cusps…..

My surgeon had all of his radio-frequency/cauterizing doo-dahs already inside my heart which he fed up through a couple veins in my legs…..

…..so how the  @#$%^#  did he get from there to the OTHER side of that aortic valve(?)…with all of his necessary wires and stuff…along with his cauterizing ray-gun(?)…..

Then~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~he had to be super careful~~~~~
~~~~~while going through…the opening & closing valve~~~

~~~~~and then turn all his radio-frequency toys around~~~~~
~~~~~and then carefully~~~(thank God)~~~very carefully~~~~~

~~~~~burn the mis-firing/middle flappy-bit of the aortic valve’s leaflet-thingie~~~~~
~~~~~And Then~~~ He saved the day~~~~~

He calmly and casually said my heart was stubborn…..

So I’ve decided…the least my heart can do now…is show its appreciation…and keep a regular heart beat…..

…..don’t you think?…..

The good doctor said…I can go back to a normal work-load now…and to see him again in July…..

So…I asked him if “normal work-load” meant I could use my chain saw…..

…..(it’s hard to surprise my older daughter anymore…but it’s really great when I still manage to do so)…..

My doctor did say he was not anticipating that question…but…Yes…I could use my chain saw…..

…..(I thought I was being very responsible about the heavy vibrations running up my arms & affecting my heart)…..

He said that wouldn’t be a problem…..

…..so a Good Day…huh?…..

No unnecessary/auxiliary holes burned through my aorta…and I’ve been cleared to chainsaw…..

…..celebrate wherever and whenever you can…..

Huzzah!…
