Florence

My heart goes out to those who are in Florence’s path.
Geez…………………………………………
She could have jogged left originally and aimed in our direction so easily.
I remember the hours leading up to Katrina……………….we didn’t know if it was us or them.

Us or them…
That doesn’t give me any kind of relief………………..the people lives, the animal lives, the way of life for so many…

We just put one foot in front of the other on this pretty little garden planet and hope and pray for the best.
When I was growing up, I had this one recurring question.
#1—–Do I live each day for how it will affect my future?
#2—–Do I live each day for how I will reflect on it, because I will be reflecting on it longer in a memory than the time it actually took living it.
#3—–Or do I live in each moment………….as it unfolds………….

I think Mother Nature is wholeheartedly illustrating a big vote for Option #3.
The past is and forever will be in the history books of Time.
The future is so unpredictable………………….a la Mother Nature and others…

But the Now.
That’s really the only thing we can have a say in.
And it’s so fleeting…
(one could argue that it’s always Now—–but that’s for another time and another post)
All those in the way of Florence just up the coastline are definitely in the Now or awaiting the Now…………
…………………..I’d better go check on Isaac……………….
***************************Here’s an interesting little post-script that I just discovered***************************
Remember my friends——–Lola and Sapphire?
This afternoon I spoke with Lola on the telephone, only to find out that she and Sapphire had just arrived in North Carolina to watch the World Equine Games………………….(?) (?) (?)
Timing IS everything………………………………….What Are They Thinking???
Who flies to where a hurricane will be hitting?
I hope I see them again………….

*****Oh…………………and it’s not Us or Them*****

*****It’s all Us*****
