I realized I hadn’t done a puppy update for a little while…..

All of our recent puppies have found their new homes…and Sabine is getting her figure back…..

The majority of the puppies went to homes who have already had one of our Irish Wolfhounds in the past…..

We’ve been bringing puppies into this world for a number of years…..

I’m proud of our decades of involvement…Irish Wolfhounds are a wonderful ancient rare breed that needs safeguarding…..

We’ve tried really hard to support and research and continue the Breed’s Standards…..

We’re working hard to promote healthy long-lived hounds…..

In Sabine’s recent litter we kept Eowyn…a red brindle little girl…..

Where Sabine isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer…it’s like she gifted all of her intellect to Eowyn…..

Eowyn’s a smart little pup…..

This was both Mom and Dad’s first litter…and Acacias brought a lot of height and size to their children…..

This litter’s puppies were taller and heavier than past litters at every step in their development…..

I don’t know how big they’re going to be as adults…but if their current growth rate is any indication…they are going to be really really big hounds…..

Eowyn has a lot of smarts…she’s biddable and wants to cooperate…..

…..she wants to be a good girl…..

Which is good…because with her current growth spurts…she’s going to be a really large lady…..

…..and she’ll be able to reach a lot more No-No’s than a dachshund or a cocker spaniel ever would…..

Leash training and basic commands are so important with any dog…but it’s extra important with really big dogs…especially really fast tall coursing hounds…..

So we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing…..

We love the Irish Wolfhounds.  We love the breed.  We take our stewardship seriously…..
