Sunday will be Easter…..

The dinner and the baskets have been planned…..

If you’re thinking we’re a little old for Easter baskets…..

You’d be wrong…..

They are hidden better…and harder to find…..

…..my younger daughter still believes in the Easter Bunny…and that’s all the excuse I need…..

So Easter is in full swing here…..

There will be multiple Easter baskets…filled with jewel-colored grasses and treats…..

Of course they’re packed with (a little) less chocolate…..

…..(but never less Marshmallow Peeps)…..

This year’s Easter baskets will contain nail polish…and (Peeps)…and jerky…and (Peeps)…and hair dye…and garden seeds…and (Peeps)…..

Okay…even I can see that’s weird…..

…..ooh…I forgot the Robin’s Eggs malted milk balls…(but there’s still time for a grocery store run)…..

I’ve got dinner all planned out…..

I found a prime rib roast in the dark recesses of the garage chest freezer…..

If I take my bifocals off…I won’t see the freezer-burn…..

…..(like that would ever be a problem anyway)…a few added herbs for camouflage…a little extra butter for moisturizing…maybe some horseradish sauce to mask things…..

…..problem solved…..

Just don’t tell anyone else…(like this isn’t an international blog)…(you’re all sworn to secrecy–Okay?)…shhhhhhh…..

…..come to think about it…I guess we’ll need some vegetables…so a quick trip to our local Winn-Dixie grocery store does need to be factored in…..

…..maybe some asparagus…and some cauliflower…and potatoes…maybe pop-overs?…(nope–too much work)…..

…..oooh…definitely more Marshmallow Peeps!…and the malted eggs too!…..

The front gate is already decorated with DollarTree decorations…..

Everything is looking bright and festive and Spring-like…..

See………….Perfect…..
