It’s that time of year when one seasonal home decoration immediately flows into the next holiday decor requirement.

I love Holidays…

I love all Holidays…

I even considered celebrating November 17th………………..which for those of you who don’t know…………………is the anniversary of the patenting of barbed wire…….(duh!)

(however, I personally don’t believe in barbed wire or it’s containment capabilities)…….

…..I prefer electric fencing (with its painful yet educating joules) which can put you on your butt in a split second…….

So, we’ve just had Halloween…….

…..now, we’re steam-rolling towards Thanksgiving…….

…..and before you know it…it will be Christmas…….and then it’s Hogmanay…….

…..WHILE…….in and around all of those…….there are other days to celebrate, like:  The National Day of the Horse (December 13th.)…..or…..Walt Disney’s Birthday (December 5th.)

…..or…..the Patenting of the Yo-Yo (November 20th.)

…..or…..the Day Van Gogh Cut Off His Left Ear (December 23rd…….maybe we shouldn’t celebrate  &/or  encourage that one…..(?)……

How about December 3rd…..the Day the First Alka Seltzer was sold…….?

…..see, the list just goes on and on…….

It’s the best store ever!

I can decorate for every holiday on a budget of…….one dollar!

I can foresee that the next few months of various celebratory days will be combined & melded together with the previous holidays…….(mostly because I’m just too tired to change them out…….and what with my chronic wry neck and my ringing-headache…….balancing boxes, while scaling the attic stairs, is not really a good choice right now)…

…..so come Valentines Day…………………I can also foresee the big/giant skull from Halloween (which is still on the dining room table) surrounded with bows and conversation hearts…….

…..Hey…….it works for me………….

Let’s not forget Dr. Seuss’s Birthday (March 2nd.)…..or National Spider Day (March 14th.) which also happens to simultaneously be National Pie Day AND Albert Einstein’s Birthday too…….so it’s quite the trifecta…
