Wanna know how I got that number?…

I just took sixty-five+ years old and multiplied it by 365 days for every year…

(my reclusive-tendencies are not a newly-acquired/pandemic-generated character trait)

~~~~~it’s a willing lifestyle~~~~~

………………………and so, social distancing continues…..as it already has for the last 23,000 days or so…….

The puppies are fine…….thank you for asking…….

One of my worries is to have enough newsprint to keep shredding…..to keep absorbing their artesian pee’s and covering their ample puppy poo’s…….

I count my blessings that that is all I am worrying about right now…..we are all healthy here so far…….

I’ve become a connoisseur of newspapers…….

…..every section has its purpose…….

There are two neighborhood newspapers that Paolo frequently raids & collects for us…….

…….The Laker…….

and the

…….TBT…(Tampa Bay Times)…….

…….(they are both freebies)…….

They both have little metal boxes scattered all over the county where you can pick up a couple copies…….

…..or four…..or five…..or thirty-five…..

Paolo has a special route that he’s memorized where he can zoom in…….

…..grab a stash…….

…..and then book it…….

I have a compulsive little routine that I go through myself when cleaning the pupper’s cages and laying down a fresh set of shredded papers for the little darlings…….to befoul…

Paolo has his job…….

I have my job…….

And the puppers have theirs…….

…..we are all very dedicated to our purpose…….

I prioritize & save the front page of the “A” Section of The Laker…….

…..Section “A”s got multiple sheets of newsprint and it opens out to a large/absorbant base-paper for the puppies’ kennel-cage…….

…..Section “B”…..well it’s just a Section “A” wanna be…

Then there’s the assorted inserts…….

…..those are the shredders for the necessary fluff for the puppies’ bedding…….

…..there’s the standard grocery store sale paper…..always a predictable workhorse for shredding…….

…..then there’s the grocery store/liquor store sale-insert…..predictably disappointing in it’s one-page newsprint…..it just slows down my shredding process…….

…..then there’s the fast-food deals combined with the carpet cleaning companies…..and the food coupons…..and the cell phone hypes…….

…..I’ll shred them too, but they hedge towards a glossy-finish…..so they aren’t super absorbent…….

…..and let’s face it…..absorbency is the name of the game…….
