I’ve learned something new…..
My friend (Simone) taught me a new word…..

…..and if you’re cool…..you know what it means…..
…..that means I’m cool now…..
(well…..I’ve always been cool…..but now I’m slammin-bitchin-cool)

Well it’s not necessarily green…..(although I suppose it could be…..especially with questionable meat)
…..but it IS difficult to spell…..
…..and pronounce…..
Apparently it’s the way-cool, new-thing to bring to a banquet or buffet…..
…..or in our case…..a Fox Hunt Tea…..
A Charcuterie appears to be what used to be called a Meat & Cheese Platter…..(?)…..(I think)

It seems to me like it’s something I would spruce up with background lettuce on one of my better trays…..
…..while cleaning out the back of my refrigerator with the “what-nots” and a collection of stuff from the small containers of “thingies” that are way back in the dark corners on the middle shelf…..
…..that I don’t know how else to use…..
If it’s my refrigerator that’s being cleared out…..
…..to be very honest…..
…..I’d have to make sure that green and/or blue mold hasn’t started percolating on any of the corners or creases of the “what-nots”…..
Fancy napkins are a must…..along with cute toothpicks…..and pretty/little/un-matched porcelain plates…..
…..and voila!…..!…..!
You have a Charcuterie…..(je ne sais quoi)…..(I think it’s really a fridge-clean-out…..)
So thank you Simone…..for keeping me with-it and fabulously cool…..
…..I have a new word to add to my vocabulary…..

…..I am hip with a new/current/re-visited/old tray of edible oleo…..
…..and a less congested refrigerator…..
…..and a way to find a use for those last two floating gherkins in the jar in the back of the fridge…..
