Easter was this last Sunday…..

We watched some good movies and documentaries…took it easy…and ate as much refined sugar as was humanly possible…..

There was definitely an over indulgence in Easter candy…..

It was really a good thing that the List the Easter Bunny gave me had all of my favorite candies on it…..

Yummy…..

Wasn’t that so fortunately circumstantial?…that the List had all of my favorites(?)…..

I may have overly procured the Easter basket stuffings this year………….I may have…..

The Easter Bunny has to be wary when he visits our house…..

…..because of the calculating cats and the conniving hounds…..

Chocolate is bad for all of them …but it suits my life just perfectly…..

Or should I say…it’s just fine for my daughter’s…because the Easter baskets are theirs…..

…..of course…the Easter baskets are theirs…..

…..I know that…I do…..

As always the Easter Bunny had to hide their baskets in very secure places…..

…..like in the dryer (with the door securely closed)…or in the washing machine (drained and with the lid down)…or in the dish washer (with the dishes and water gone)…..

It’s a frustration to all of our sneaky household pets…..

My marshmallow Peep addiction continues…(unabated)…..

This year there was even a New Strawberry PopTart favored version of the Peeps…(I recommend them)…..

…..(I still don’t recommend the Dr. Pepper flavored Peeps…that just takes things too far)…..

AND…Robin’s Eggs Malted Milk Balls…..

You can chew them…or suck on them…until they dissolve in your mouth…and then stick to the inside of your cheek…(it’s all so much fun)…..

There are so many ways to enjoy them…..

In my opinion (and the Easter Bunny’s too)…we prefer spiced jelly beans over the fruity ones…..

Except for the Peptol Bismol flavored ones…but they can be avoided…and left in the bowl…..

…..(FYI–they are the pink ones)…..

My daughters enjoyed their baskets…(and I enjoy stealing from them)………….(oh no…I would never!)…..

………….(yes I would)………….

I’ve been suffering from a sugar induced headache for days…..

I’m not complaining………….I worked hard for it…..

I know I’ve mentioned before…but I love all celebrations…large and small…..
