Bone Density——Yippee!!!

I recently went to my doctor.
I don’t avoid them…
I really don’t…
I do procrastinate however…

They are so judgy……………and opinionated…
AND, “they” are the first to say that they “practice” their trade…………hmmmmmmmmm…
So, there’s that…….
Let’s put it this way, I had to get the lab work done because the prescriptions were about to expire after almost a year.
So I did.
And then I went back to the doctor.
I like him. He’s judgy, but he’s holistically judgy.

Kind of a skinny/young hippie.
I could pick him up and throw him like a floppy boomerang.
BUT——-he did have some good news!
For an old bat……………..at least I’m not a brittle, old bat…
Tra! La!

Apparently, the necessary scan for bone density looks at your hips and spine…
I’ve only got some of those parts.
They had to evaluate my sacrum and my lumbar spine……………..because I ain’t got no hip joints anymore…
BUT——-they were able to “score” my lower back——-and I passed! Yippee!!!
As soon as my younger daughter and I left the doctor’s office, I asked her to text my riding cronies (my daughter uses her thumbs a lot better than I do)…

One message repeated five times…….
“JUST LEFT THE DOCTOR’S OFFICE. BONE DENSITY IS GOOD. I CAN BOUNCE!!!”
A flurry of responses came back while we were driving home…
“Woo Hoo’s!”. “It’s Important To Try NOT To Fall Off!”. “Now! Get On The Horse!”. “Good! But What About STAYING In The Saddle?”

And Lola didn’t answer——-What’s up Lola?……………..you were even there during one of my all-time famously-best “spin & drops”?
I’ll have to harass her more…
~~~~~~~~~So there it is folks!
I’ve gotten the seal of approval to continue riding and Fox Hunting!!!
(Did I mention ANYTHING about riding or Fox Hunting to my doctor?—————–no, no, no, no, no, no, no.—————–shhhhhhhhh.)
(And we won’t talk about my cholesterol…….)
