The big old girl doesn’t look sick…

 

She doesn’t act sick…

She is a little off her feed……………but only just a little…

 

And that could just be because of all of the pills I am crunching up and sprinkling on it while trying to disguise the meds under a veil of maple syrup (imitation).

But, Boy O’ Boy———Addy’s last blood work looked bad…

Dr. Stevie Wonder is contacting HIS veterinarian gurus…

I can’t wait for the outcome of those discussions…

The internet is great for research.  But when you only have a little knowledge to begin with……………

……………it can really scare the stuffing out of you…

 

At this point, I am sure that Addy has absolutely everything that is equin-ally possible…

My stomach lining is shot.

The repeated CBC blood work results look worse than the first.

More of the individual categories in the hematology are in the red areas and not neatly settled in the happy-zone in the middle.

Some are too high…

Some are too low…

And the Fibrinogen is now off the charts to the right (way too high)…

 

RBC;  Hematocrits;  Hemoglobins;  Lymphocytes;  Creatine;  Phosphorus;  Sodium;  Chloride;  & Albumin (isn’t that egg whites?)———are all too low…

 

WBC;  Neutrophils;  Platelets;  Total Protein;  Globulins;  ALP;  & Creatine Kinase———are all to high…

And like I said…………..the Fibrinogen got a major honorable-mention…

With what little I know……………I do know my pony is pretty sick…

But she’s really not acting differently…

Maybe we just shouldn’t tell her…

Or maybe I’ll just look out (one of the multiple times that I already look out during each day) and she’ll be dead as a door nail…..(what does that expression mean?)

……………and next month on the twenty-first is the one year anniversary of all of our horses dying……………
