April 21st., 2019…

I know it’s Easter Sunday……….

……….but it’s another day too……….

 

……….it’s the day last year that our horses started dying……….

My family is trying to move on……….

…..we are……….

Additionally it’s the anniversary of my Father’s passing……………

 

Quite the day, isn’t it?……….

But……………we’re also hoping that Claire is in foal to Brave……….

That’s something to celebrate……….isn’t it?!!

We do still need Dr. Stevie Wonder to confirm by ultra sound to make sure……….

 

Both Claire and Chantilly have put on a lot of weight and their over-all condition has really improved since we brought them home from Alabama…

 

 

 

They were both  in really poor shape where they were previously……….

 

 

 

 

Poppy is doing well……………

As Mary Constance put it……………she’s an air fern…

She’s a super easy keeper……….

 

But God, I do miss all of the horses who(m) we lost last year……………

They were all my friends……………

There’s no getting over it……………there’s just getting on with it……………
